Biofuels Laboratory: Design and Management

Logos is actively seeking candidates for a Biofuels Laboratory Manager position in Northern Virginia.  Logos is constructing a general analytical laboratory to conduct experiments in the biofuels arena.  The laboratory manager will be the primary point of contact for the design, construction and operation of the laboratory, including actual experimentation.

Applicants must have experience with the following:

• Analytical chemistry techniques
• Gas chromatography
• Laboratory setup
• Biological fermentation

Applicants with experience in the setup and management of a laboratory from the ground up are highly desired.  All qualified candidates should be familiar with laboratory environmental and safety issues, permitting procedures, and equipment procurement. General knowledge of and an interest in biofuels is a plus.
